Scott Equipment is one of the largest Volvo and CNH dealers in the country. In order to ensure that each and every customer receives the best service possible, Scott Equipment attempts to stay on the forefront of technology. According to IT Manager Donnie Williams, “We had been a customer of CDK for 15 years, so when we realized we had outgrown our original system, we knew we needed to upgrade and wanted to stick with what we knew. CDK has always done a good job for us.”

He continues: “We like to implement new technology and utilize tools that are available in the market so that we can increase efficiency and productivity, and we saw an opportunity to do this by utilizing IntelliDealer and the Payment Card interface in our dealership.”

Williams says, “The biggest reason we enjoy the switch we made with CDK is that our employees have really embraced the new processes. They are now able to save so much more time. The manual methods we had previously really added a lot of time to the buying process. Now things move smoothly and seamlessly for the customer and everything is automated on our side. There are no backend accounting entries because the system does that for us now. We love that feature.”

He continues: “Moving to this new CDK credit card processing system has really helped Scott Equipment to have better control over our processes and, in turn, our dealership. There is more visibility into a centralized location for all of our transactions and the reporting features are awesome. Our reports are available on a company-wide level, which gives us good visibility into transactions so we can see what’s going on within each location. Even if we have occasional transaction errors, we can spot those errors easily and correct them almost instantly. We know there are more features we need to learn about within our new system, but we love what we have learned thus far.”
